Yes, it has a saccharine tenor, but I found it more mollifying than maddening. There is complexity to the music that keeps it interesting. "Give you hell" is a great feeling-jilted anthem, but stopping with that song is a disservice to this album. Its a fun listen that is easy on the ears. While it may not have satisfied the often heavy-handed reviewer above, "When the world comes down" is worth listening to all the way through. This is a great new album and I felt they really changed things up a bit on this one. The single "Give you hell" is a fine display of melodic creativity. I hear AAR evolving nicely here.
