For those of you who believe that this issue is insignificant compared to world hunger, thirst, disease and the like, here’s a quick statistic-

Number of LEGAL abortions in the United States sice 1972 (as of August 2011): Approximately 50 Million

I don’t mean to try to belittle deaths from other crisises like world hunger, of which the statistics are surely much greater, but abortion is a very serious issue. And keep in mind how many illegal abortions have been done that are not included in this statistic. Also, compare this to the approximately 313 million people living in the United States. I see abortion as no less than legalized murder; life begins the moment of conception. I find this ad only somewhat powerful, but poweful advertisements shouldn’t be necessary for people to understand the value and sacredness of life.
