As predicted, Blake Lewis’ album flopped on the charts. Lewis came in at number 10 with 98,000 albums sold. The Idol runner-up was the fourth bestselling second-place finisher behind Clay Aiken, Katharine McPhee, and Bo Bice. He did though, sell more than Diana DeGarmo and Justin Guarini.

The charts belonged to Josh Groban whose Christmas album, Noel , has dominated the number one position for three weeks.  Groban sold 581,000 copies making his album a certified double-platinum (and going) hit! Congrats!!

Sorry, Blake. But seriously, with a disastrous album cover and corny beatboxing skills, did you really believe you could top any chart but the fug chart?

We’re waiting for a Justin Guarini to happen to Blake anytime soon…
