Our first one delivers a “Silver Linings Playbook” cast reunion with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. Ron Rash’s novel, “Serena,” has received the film treatment and is directed by Susanne Bier. Here is our first glimpse at the period piece drama that takes place in North Carolina. 

Next up is Keanu Reeves’ newest action flick, “John Wick.” This ex-hitman is forced to pursue an old friend that is contracted to kill him. From the trailer we can see Reeves’ is having to get some hardcore “Taken” style revenge, especially after his precious dog is murdered. Do you plan to check this movie out when it hits theaters in October?

Nicki Minaj’s latest music video “Anaconda” broke Vevo view count records and Ellen DeGeneres wants in. The day-time talk show host has placed herself in many movie scenes before, but this one is of a slightly different vibe. There is no doubt that one of this year’s themes is the butt. Whether it’s Miley Cyrus twerking or Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea’s “Booty” remix. The “Anaconda” music video caught a lot of flack, due to the graphic level of booty shaking. At least Ellen gives us a more comical look at one of the wildest movements in pop culture. Watch the video below to see Nicki’s reaction to Ellen inserting herself in the rapper’s latest video.

“Ghostbusters” is currently back in theaters for a limited run to celebrate their 30th anniversary. Everyone’s favorite cast member, Bill Murray, recently had an interview with The Toronto Star and shared his casting suggestions. There have been rumors that the upcoming “Ghostbusters III” film would revolve around a female ensemble. Murray recommended Melissa McCarthy, who he will be sharing the screen with soon in “St. Vincent.” He stated that she, “Would be a good fit for a role in the next “Ghostbusters” flick. His other suggestions included Emma Stone, Kristen Wiig, and Linda Cardellini. He followed with, “There are some funny girls out there.”

The original director of “Ghostbusters,” Ivan Reitman, commented on Paul Feig’s chances of sitting in the director’s chair for the new film. He is, “Fairly certain Feig will get the job.” Feig directed the 2011 comedy blockbuster, “Bridesmaids, ” which starred the two casting recommendations Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy. Now that Murray has planted these casting choices in our head, it is all we can imagine. Dear casting director, make this happen!

Jennifer Lopez is a busy woman. She has been promoting her latest album, performing at the World Cup, and has also been filming her upcoming USA network drama “Lila & Eve.” As powerful as she may be, in her newest film she becomes the victim. The first trailer for “The Boy Next Door” has been released and it appears that she is in trouble. This psychological thriller dives deep into the consequence of forbidden attraction. Her one-time hookup with “Step Up” star Ryan Guzman has her rethinking recent decisions. Her young neighbor has now developed a stalker-like  obsession for Lopez.

The movie also stars John Corbett, Ian Nelson, and Kristin Chenoweth. Rob Cohen of “The Fast and the Furious” directs the Barbara Curry written film. “The Boy Next Door” is produced by Jason Blum and hits theaters January 23rd, 2015 . Check out the first trailer below!

The unusually dangerous team that includes Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudiekis are at it again. Warner Bros. Pictures has released the second trailer for the “Horrible Bosses” sequel. During this film the comedic trio’s kidnapping scheme fails to be executed as planned thanks to a slick investor. This trailer also gives us a further glimpse into Chris Pine’s character int he film. Watch the video below to get a sneak peek at Charlie Day’s ransom note making skills and catch “Horrible Bosses 2” in theaters November 26th.

The A&E network will soon be premiering Mike Myers’ directorial debut. His film will revolve around the most famous person in the world that you’ve never even heard of. Shep Gordon is Hollywood’s most connected celebrity manager. Myers’ film “Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon” will premiere on Saturday, September 20th at 6pm ET/PT.

Gordon has made a major cultural impact on the entertainment and music industry. With his major fame power creating skills, he has has transformed his clients into some of today’s biggest stars. Alice Cooper, Teddy Pendergrass, Anne Murray, and Groucho Marx are just a few of these big name clients. A-list actors Sylvester Stallone, Michael Douglas, and Steven Tyler will make appearances in the film to comment on Gordon’s talent. Mike Myers had the following to say about the Gordon:

“I met Shep Gordon in 1991 on the set of ‘Wayne’s World.’ I thought he was a perfect combination of Brian Epstein, Marshall McLuhan and Mr. Magoo. I’ve been trying to get Shep to agree to let me make a movie about him for ten years. Last year he finally he said yes. I loved him like a brother before we started making this film and now having sifted through his life and his legacy, I love him even more.”

The colorizing film, “The Giver” finished up the weekend with an estimated $5 million. Don’t shoot the messenger, but many Marvel fans may be upset over some leaked set photos.  Click here to see the photos snapped from the set of the rebooted “Fantastic Four.” This is the first glance the public has had of Doctor Doom’s new look. While fans were excited when they saw a sneak peek at The Thing, I’m finding it hard to see as many positive reactions to Doctor Doom’s appearance. We can take note that he is surrounded by a green screen, so many visual effects could be added in later and that includes his wardrobe. Also there is a possibility of this just being his look for a certain scene, depending on what is going on during the script at this time. How do you feel about this look and the reboot as a whole?
