Audrina Patridge Aspires to Bring Acid Wash Back

Please somebody stop this pathetic excuse for a celebrity before she incites the demise of all things related to style. I understand that fashion is cyclical and that what’s been done will probably be done again, but there are some trends that simply should not be resurrected. Acid wash denim is of those trends. May I remind you…

Pretty bad, right? Apparently, this freakish display of denim drizzled by acid is not only acceptable, but even preferred by Lauren Conrad’s sidekick, Audrina Patridge. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any sadder than being on a “reality show” that probably isn’t real,  it does.  Audrina appears on the web-pages of her blog wearing this for Devine Rights of Denim:

And saying this, explaining why:

“For one thing, I really like their style! The line is sexy and fun and they’re not afraid to take risks with colors/washes/fit. For example, this season they’re bringing ACID WASH back. How cool is that?”

Whoa nelly, first of all, acid wash does NOT deserve capital letters. Second of all, it does not deserve a second chance. It already had one in the 80’s, and we all saw how that worked out…

I used to watch Audrina Partridge on the MTV reality show The Hills. Good luck to her own reality series that would be launched in 2010 called Tha Audrina Show.
