If you’ve been up on your celebrity gossip this week, you probably already know that Paris Hilton and her boyfriend ended up in a brawl at a club in Miami after she approached the DJ, to ask him to play a song she could dance to. According to RadarOnline.com, “Paris approached the DJ in the nightclub at approximately 3am and requested a song by Madonna or Black Eyed Peas, something she could dance to. The DJ was spinning techno music. Suddenly a bodyguard near the DJ pushed Paris, she told RadarOnline.com. Doug then told the man not to touch his girlfriend.”

Last night, I caught a split headline show at the House of Blues featuring LMAO and Shwayze. It was, more or less, my first rap concert. The crowd was young, naïve and decidedly un-tan if you catch my drift. This is hip hop for the whitest kids possible. It’s the equivalent of that kid shampoo that doesn’t sting your eyes when the foam gets all aggressive. And you know what, it’s pretty damn catchy.

Los Angeles-based artist du jour and former prison inmate Louis Carreon is Tinsel Town’s go-to graffiti artist, mingling with Hollywood socialites at art gallery openings and schmoozing with rock stars at hot spots throughout L.A. – all while sober. Already popular with the young Hollywood crowd – Paris Hilton and Adrian Grenier are fans – Carreon is still in the precarious position of being simultaneously not-quite-mainstream and almost too “industry” for the art world.

This celebutante’s boyfriends are as disposable as her used tissues, but her most recent boy toy is Benji Madden, of Good Charlotte fame. Ironically, his brother Joel Madden, is Nicole Richie’s baby-daddy. Coincidence? Perhaps it was just a matter of time before Paris found her way to Joel’s brother. However, it’s been reported that Paris and Benji are going strong and have even exchanged rings with each other’s initials on them. This naturally raises the question; “Do relationships move at warp speed in Hollywood?” P.H. and B.M. have only been dating for a few weeks and now they’re ready to parade around wearing each other’s initials? I’ll admit, I had my doubts about this celeb couple, but to me, that seems like a pretty strong statement of some kind of commitment. You can almost smell the Vegas wedding coming on…
