Calling all foodies and film fans – if you’re craving an introspective story about family, fear, and finding the strength to follow a dream, Jon Favreau serves it up in “Chef.” Though he’s most recently known for his work helming big budget blockbusters like “Iron Man” and “Iron Man 2″ Favreau steps outside the expected with “Chef” – a lighthearted comedy about a man’s personal journey to reignite a passion, and reconnect with his son. “Chef” follows the story of Carl Casper (Favreau), who decides to start a food truck business after losing his job at a high profile restaurant. The journey takes Casper across the country, bringing new experiences, challenges, and the opportunity to spend some overdue time with his son, played by Emjay Anthony.

The 90′s action movie was a delightful blend between the testosterone soaked action flicks of the 80′s and the hyper realistic and self aware action movies that we have today. “Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!” The Tim Burton classic turns 26 this week and the ghost with the most has appeared in the news a lot over the last six months as original cast and crew have been discussing the possibility of returning for a sequel, and this is why our own Clarke Wolfe thinks it’s a terrible idea. The A&E horror hit “Bates Motel” boasts an impressive cast of series regulars. Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga stars as Norma Bates, the mother of Freddie Highmore’s Norman Bates. Last season saw the family slate wiped clean, but knowing Norma, it won’t stay that way for long. This week, some high profile guest stars were announced for Season 2 of the series including “Alias” star Michael Vartan as Norma’s new love interest and “90210″ alum Kathleen Robertson as the mysterious head of the town’s drug family. Also making appearances are Rebecca Creskoff, Kenny Johnson and Michael O’Neill.

Congrats to our friends at Geekscape.net! The online hub for all things geek culture is joining forces with Fullscreen to bring you Geekscape TV – a new channel launching soon where you’ll be able to watch new videos, like Lou Ferrigno playing Flappy Bird, twice a week. “We’re not pretending to do anything that hasn’t been done on the internet before,” says Geekscape CEO and host Jonathan London. “We’re just going to do it better, like times a thousand… million. Jokes aside, I’m very excited to add Fullscreen to our list of partners. They went a long way in showing they wanted to work with us and we’re going to have a lot of fun together.”

It’s happening! “The Conjuring” sequel is on the books for a release on Oct. 23, 2015, according to Variety.
Though director James Wan has moved on from the franchise – he’s looking to branch out of the horror genre – Both lead actors from “The Conjuring,” Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, are reprising their roles in the untitled sequel.
No word on who’ll direct the second “Conjuring” but we’re excited for the list of prospects to start rolling out.

Harrison Ford’s relationship with Han Solo, the character he played in the original “Star Wars” trilogy, is what you might call complicated. He’s generally open to discussing his other iconic roles (AKA Indiana Jones) but he tends to bristle when reporters raise the subject of Solo. Once, during a 2010 interview with David Letterman after the host had labeled “Star Wars” as iconic, Ford quickly dismissed that notion by grumbling, “Yeah, yeah,” then referred to his character as Ham Yoyo. Ford has even gone as far as to say, “I’m done with him, ” in a 2010 interview with MTV. It’s currently unknown whether or not Ford will return as Han Solo in the upcoming “Star Wars” franchise but if he’s not up for the job, here’s our POP 5 picks of actors who could take on the role if Disney decides to move forward with a spin-off featuring a young Han Solo.
