“The Fault In Our Stars” Adapation Takes The Box Office

There was no signs of weakness in John Green’s movie adaptation of “The Fault In Our Stars,” as it captured the top spot in this weekend’s box office. Audiences shed tears as they were filled with emotion in the very heartfelt film. Last week’s top ranker, “Maleficient,” had no need to shed a tear or two, coming in an honorable second in grossing. Tom Cruise’s “Edge Of Tomorrow” grabbed enough attention to bring in an estimated $29 million. This coming week a few of this summer’s highly anticaipatied movies will be making their debut, so expect some older films to no longer be in the top 10 grossing rank. If you’ve hit the theaters lately, send us your Twitter review and you could see it featured on our website. Check out this weekend’s top grossing films in THEPOPFIX’s weekly installment of all things new at the box office!
