Boy, how little Hannah Montana has grown up. In an interview with The Daily Mail, Miley Cyrus addresses controversy surrounding her hit single, “We Can’t Stop,” which contains lyrics referencing drug use. Though the track’s producer, Mike WiLL Made It, denied that the song alludes to partying with ecstasy and cocaine, Cyrus took the opportunity to set the record straight, saying, “I don’t think people have a hard time understanding that I’ve grown up. You can Google me and you know what I’m up to — you know what that lyric is saying.”

We weren’t surprised when we heard Lindsay Lohan would be getting her own reality show. Her perchant for hard-partying, struggling career, and questionable reputation make her the ultimate poster-child for “Hollywood Good Girl Gone Bad syndrome.” Contrary to intuition, Lohan’s show will not be aired on MTV or Oxygen, joining the ranks of guilty pleasures like “Jersey Shore” or “Bad Girl’s Club,” but rather, will air as a new program on Oprah Winfrey’s network, OWN. Entertainment Weekly reported that Lohan will be starring in an upcoming eight-part reality series that will document her life as she tries to stay healthy and reestablish her career. Although Gwyneth is certainly not a bad candidate, People’s decision to dub her Most Beautiful comes with a little controversy. Granted, there are different interpretations of true beauty, and although Paltrow exudes talent, class, and promotes a healthy lifestyle, we can’t help but wonder when she was chosen as the best representative for this year. Perhaps we can chalk it up to a move to win over her PR reps, or maybe People Magazine simply meant to honor Paltrow for what would be better titled a “Lifetime Achievement” award. Either way, when it comes to “Most Beautiful,” there are other people that would be a better fit in 2013…
