NBC Super Bowl Rejects Obama Abortion Ad

A controversial anti-abortion ad has been pulled from NBC’s Super Bowl line-up.
The ad, by Catholic Vote, challenges Americans to rethink the repercussions of abortion and life without Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States. “Life, Imagine the Potential,” it states.

Controversial? Too much? Is NBC in the right, or are they overreacting?

Jay May Be Hot, But His Music Video Is NOT

If you weren’t already sick of the cast of “The Hills”/”The City” here’s Jay’s band, and their most recent music video for the song, “Everything To Me.” The band is called Tamarama but they should probably just change it to “BORING,” and is comprised of Jay Lyon (yes, that’s his last name) and Nicolas Potts. So, wait, how come Nicolas didn’t make the cut to be on “The City?” And how does Whitney feel about the other woman Jay canoodles with in the video?

The Newest of LA Nightlife: MyHouse Review

Gone are the days when all that was needed to throw a slammin’ house party were a couple of kegs, a semi-decent sound system, and chill neighbors who didn’t call the cops on you before midnight. With the recent introduction of MyHouse onto the Los Angeles nightlife scene, the meaning of what a house party is, and should be, has been completely redefined. Last Friday, at the invitation of a friend, I left my very own house doubtful of what MyHouse could possibly have to offer that other clubs in Hollywood didn’t. My skepticism was short-lived, as it was quickly checked at the door the moment I crossed the threshold into the 10,000 square foot venue. Upon being ushered in, I was given a comprehensive tour of the establishment; what I was met with was nothing short of impressive. Although the concept of modeling a nightclub after a home is not unprecedented, the manner in which the club’s principal designer, Dodd Mitchell, interpreted and executed the concept certainly was. Although Mitchell took a minimalist approach in modeling the club after a modern day dream home, no luxurious detail seemed to have been spared.

It’s About Time Lil’ Wayne Made a Bad Song

There comes a time in every rapper’s career where he must ask himself the ever-important question, “Can I really keep living my life making up these meaningless songs about money and hoes?” Most rappers pause for a minute, polish theirbling, look at their mansion full of “tip-drills” and “baby mamas” and then answer this question with a resounding, “Yes.”

Apparently, Lil’ Wayne found himself at this familiar crossroad recently, but he decided to stand up and go against the grain, this time writing a song about money and underage jail-bait.

Rachel says: Mickey Rourke? He’s too old!

Remember Evan Rachel Wood? You know, the girl who was said to have an incestuous relationship with her dad, Mickey Rourke (well, at least in The Wrestler?) Now the girl who tenderly  sucked Rourke’s juicy collagen-filled lips to see what collagen tasted like, is stating that hey, he’s too old for me!
Now, in a statement to Rolling Stones, Rachel’s saying:
I’m upset because I feel disrespected by the press and by Mr. Rourke. Just because I’m single doesn’t mean that you can take advantage of me. It’s unfair that the performances …
