Falloween 2013 Horror Movie Challenge

Per your Twitter suggestions, THEPOPFIX compiled a list of the best, most interesting, or straight up scary horror movies released over the past 13 years, and I’m hell-bent on seeing them all. Over the next 31 days, I’ll be documenting my Falloween experience in the form of daily vlogs, blogs, and all my reactions to these films right here on THEPOPFIX. Is Thor Headed For A Threequel?

“Thor: The Dark World” hasn’t even hit theaters yet but is a third installment of the Thor franchise already in the works? While promoting the Thor sequel, Natalie Portman told E! News that she anticipates the franchise is moving toward a threequel, saying, “I think they are going to make a “Thor 3,” so I think Anthony (Hopkins) will be pleased.” Anthony Hopkins has already expressed that he’d love to jump on board to another installment of the Marvel franchise.

“The Expendables” Franchise Moving Forward Without Willis

As expected, “The Expendables” really is moving forward without Bruce Willis as the third installment of the action franchise began filming today in Bulgaria. We thought there might be trouble in action-hero paradise when Sylvester Stallone tweeted the words “GREEDY AND LAZY” following his announcement that Harrison Ford would be joining the cast of “The Expendables 3” while Willis would not. At the time we could only guess he might have been referring to Willis, but some new information leads us to believe that he probably was. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Willis turned down an offer for $3 million dollars to work on the third installment of “The Expendables” although his role would only require four days of work on location in Bulgaria…

Who Will Be The Next Lex Luthor?

Fans have been wondering if and when Zack Snyder will introduce consummate Superman bad guy, Lex Luthor. And although there have been no official confirmations if we’ll see this character in the sequel, there’s been a lot of talk about who might be considered for the role. What ScarJo Really Thinks About Marriage

Although it was a short-lived marriage, ScarJo learned a lot from her nuptials to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds. In a interview with ELLE UK, “The Avengers” actress dished on what relationships mean to her. “To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn’t mean you have to be married… I never think about marriage. Is that weird?” Although Johansson doesn’t spend time thinking about marriage, she did momentarily reflect on her time spent with Ryan Reynolds, which she looks upon fondly, “I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually,” Johansson said.

PepsiCo & Lil Wayne Splitting Ways Over “Creative Differences”

PepsiCo, the company behind popular soda Mountain Dew, has announced they will no longer run advertisements featuring rapper Lil Wayne over “creative differences” over a controversial line in his song “Karate Chop.” Lil Wayne has been a commercial staple for Mountain Dew for the past year, as advertisements featuring the rapper began running in early 2012. But PepsiCo made the choice to cut the cord to it’s relationship with Wayne due to a song lyric containing a vulgar reference to the beating to Emmett Till, a young boy who died after to a violent attack in the 1950′s. This horrific occurrence became a significant event in the American civil rights movement, and is still widely discussed and relevant today…
