Prepare your ears for a trip down memory lane, because we are taking a trip to the 90′s. Art Alexakis, the lead singer of Everclear, has teamed up with Liz Phair for their first collaboration ever.

Their talents will are shared within a duet for the upcoming documentary “FARMLAND,” due out this Spring. The collaboration will be featured during the final montage in the movie, and will be a cover of Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land.”

While planting and collecting crops may be easy for you on Farmville, the struggle and intense labor that goes into providing the nation with food is quite the opposite. Director James Moll will showcase real American ranchers and farmers, as they run the day to day on their family farm. Americans forget where their food really comes from and the high-risk that is involved in providing it. Audiences will get to witness the pure passion behind their way of life, that has more than likely been passed down from generation to generation.

The national film release of the feature length documentary will be released on May 1st, 2014. It will also be debuted at festivals including, the Tribeca Film Festival and is a selection at the Cleveland International Film Festival competition.
