Fans of the CW’s 90210 who have been patiently waiting to see more of Shenae Grimes will soon get the chance to see this actress flex her acting chops in a dramatic leading role. Grimes plays a homeless girl is suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome in the upcoming movie, “Sugar,” directed by Rotimi Rainwater, and executive produced by Elliott Broidy. This new leading role is quite the departure from Grimes’ portrayal of 90210′s Annie Wilson, and instead takes her to the streets of Venice Beach, California where she makes lasting relationships with other homeless teens. “Sugar” also stars Marshall Allman, Austin Williams, and Corbin Bleu.
