Whether viewers want it or not, we will be receiving a Batman prequel series on FOX. “Gotham” will be centered around officer James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) in his younger years as he does his part in defending the city of Gotham. The debut trailer shows Gordon’s first experience with Bruce Wayne. As we all know Bruce’s parents are murdered and this is where Gordon assures him, “I will find the man who did this.” The trailer also teases the more youthful and innocent versions of today’s well known villains of the franchise. Of these villains we see, The Riddler, Penguin, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy. FOX has hit the green-light for further development of this production.
