Favorite Workplace Centered TV Shows – POP 5
Television viewers have had their emotions wrecked during these past couple Sundays, because “The Walking Dead” and “Girls“ have both aired their season finale. To fill that void of sadness, we can look forward to the final season of “Mad Men” premiering Sunday April 13th. We’ve shared with you our favorite lawyer based TV shows, but with the celebration of “Man Men” returning, here is our favorite shows that revolve around the workplace.

5. “Mad Men”
Of course I would give credit to the inspiration behind this post, that being the period drama surrounding an advertising agency. We have all fell in love with Don Draper, even through his troubled times we’ve had his back. They’ve hid out in their offices to drink whiskey and scotch, and have pulled together some last minute awe-worthy advertising pitches. I think most everyone can admit, Joan holds that whole place together.
4. ”Grey’s Anatomy”
I’m not afraid to admit, I’m a dude and I watch this show. Not only do I watch this show, but most of the time Shonda Rhimes has my eyes getting all watery…allergies I promise. This show dives into the personal and professional lives amongst hospital workers and we definitely get to see everything. Who knew how many times a storage closet could be used for quickie sex, especially in one day? Aside from the doctor drama, we get to see some pretty sick injuries!
3. “Parks & Recreation”
Oh Amy Poehler, I do love thee. Leslie Knope is as excited about her job at the Parks and Recreation department as you would be if you hit the mega-millions lottery. The whole ensemble is just as equally good at their job as they are bad, and that is what makes it so hilarious. They tackle such ridiculous tasks in their fictional town of Pawnee, but at the end of the day they all just want to make their town a better place. #SnakeJuiceForever
2. “30 Rock”
Tina Fey’s character as the head writer of a fictional live sketch show, is basically everything. I miss quoting Liz Lemon on a daily basis, referring to her obsession with food. Each week she tried to put on an amazing live show, but Tracy and Jenna always found a way to drive her mad. Alec Baldwin is hilarious as he uses his duck lips pout to win over the ladies, and throw shade to Liz Lemon’s daily decisions.
1. “The Office”
Dear Michael Scott, saying goodbye to you was really hard. If he was standing behind me right now he would be saying, “That’s what she said.” Steve Carell kills it as the regional manager of a paper distributing company. There are no boring co-worker conversations in this show, just hysterical banters and tirades. I rock a Dunder Mifflin paper company car decal in memory of this awesome show.
The great thing about all the listed shows above is, you can binge-watch them all on Netflix! Trust me…I’ve done it with four of these and it was well worth it!
