MTV’s ”Teen Wolf” star Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) gets stuck inside a killer maze in the trailer for “The Maze Runner.” The book we all hated reading in high school “The Giver” is now a celebrity packed feature film. These epic trailers are an addition to the massive overload of highly entertaining movie trailers we’ve received lately. 2013 was an outstanding year for film, and 2014 is playing out to be a year full of cinema thrill! 5. “The Amazing Spider-Man 2“ 

There is so much action packed inside the final trailer for the Spider-Man reboot, that my eyes are slightly burning. I guess I need to prepare for them to melt though, because in this one film we are getting the villain treatment of Rhino, The Goblin, and Electro! Will Jamie Fox’s role as Electro leave us shocked? Also did you know THEPOPFIX’s Erin Darling ran into the former Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire?

 

4. “The Maze Runner“ 

The film is an adaptation of the young-adult novel by James Dashner. This post-apocalyptic possible franchise leaves Dylan O’Brien with no memories and transplanted into an elaborate deadly maze. While being trapped along with many other boys, O’Brien will discover clues from his past that will assist him in fulfilling his purpose and escape the maze alive. Good luck to him, I was never good at mazes.

 

3. “Maleficent“ 

We recently revealed two new posters for the Angelina Jolie Disney film, but now we are introduced to Maleficent’s wings! I can’t express how stoked I am for this movie, and not to mention Lana Del Rey’s contribution to the film. Is it strange that even as a flaming dragon I’m still finding Jolie highly attractive.

 

2. “Peanuts“ 

I’m not talking about the roasted kind, I’m talking about Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang! I didn’t see this one coming, but in 2015 we will get to catch the comic book strip in an all new light, when it embraces the tools of 3D technology.  Anyone else really want a snoopy ice cream right about now?

 

1. “The Giver“ 

The mandatory reading material is hitting the big screen. The adaptation of  Lois Lowry’s novel is full of big names including, Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges, Katie Holmes, and even Taylor Swift. Why the last one made it in there, I don’t know. Did the casting department not see that “Valentine’s Day” movie?
