Say it ain’t so! Are Cher and Bob Mackie really calling it quits? The 67-year-old singer took to Twitter Thursday to announce that she will not be teaming up with the designer and long-time collaborator for her last tour, with the following message:

 

“Telling you something that has broken my heart, the man who made all my costumes since 1972 decided he couldn’t do my last tour.”

 

Truth be told, we’re a little heartbroken too.

It’s like four decades of moments like these mean nothing to some people.

So, why the abrupt ending to all the sequined bliss? Cher’s Twitter account sheds a little light on this matter as well…

 

 

She certainly sounds upset. But the show must go on.
