Then Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston, and Mary McCormack set down with Handler for an intervention.
All kinds of celebrities filled the studio to take part in a “We Are The World” style farewell song titled, “Goodbye To E!”
A teary eyed Handler took her final moment at E! seriously and made sure to thank everyone who was involved in the making of her show.
With the success of “American Horror Story: Asylum,” it is safe to say that America enjoys a haunting tale that revolves around a mental institute. Martin Scorsese’s 2010 film, “Shutter Island,” starred Leonardo DiCaprio and opened with mixed reviews. Although the film was one of the major blockbusters during that year, Scorsese fans believed the movie fell short to his other projects. I personally enjoyed both “Asylum” and “Shutter Island,” so I cannot wait to watch this series. The HBO show will be based on the actual hospital, “Ashecliffe.” The episodes will dive into the history of the asylum and uncover the wrongdoings of previous owners and employees.
Everyone’s new favorite artist, Sam Smith, will be making his award show performance debut during the 2014 “MTV Video Music Awards” this Sunday. Smith will be joining this star studded night that includes appearances by Demi Lovato, Lorde, Jason Derulo, and many others. He will also be sharing the stage with this year’s hottest performers including, Usher, Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds of Summer, Maroon 5, Iggy Azalea, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift. Dropping beats for the house between awards and performances will be the mega-producer and artist DJ Mustard.
Aside from performing, Smith is nominated for both the “Artist to Watch” and “Best Male Video” category. He has had major success as a UK male artist, and this is just the beginning of his crossover to the US charts. Tune in this Sunday, August 24th at 9:00 P.M. ET/PT to watch it all go down.
Prepare yourself for the ultimate crossover event. In this very special edition of ABC’s hit show “Wipeout,” the contestants will emerge from the hit shows, “The Bachelor” & “The Bachelorette.” Now I’m a dude and I can say that I have a very hard time taking those two shows seriously. I will watch them every now and then, but I always end up laughing. I view those shows the same way Jimmy Kimmel does, and his jokes make my day. Even the cult followers of the show become very frustrated at certain contestants on those shows. Sometimes they may even wish that they would get knocked in the face by a robotic boxing glove or fall face first into a pit of mud. Those wishes will be granted on Sunday, August 3rd at 8 p.m. ET. The 7th season of “Wipeout” will feature the “Tournament of Champions.” The winner from each episode will return and compete against one another in an epic battle for the title of Ultimate “Wipepout” Champion.
Its here, and I cannot breathe. On the season 4 finale of “The Walking Dead” we were left with most of the group reuniting at Terminus, yet they soon found themselves trapped inside of a box car. We recently received a first glance at Carol, Judith, & Tyreese in a sneak peek. Now thanks to Comic-Con we have a full season 5 trailer. The trailer has me cringing in the best way ever. I’m not even sure how to express the feeling of epic-ness that I am attempting to absorb. There are gun wars, a gazillion zombies, explosions, torture scenes, and so much more. I have so many questions and I’m not 100% sure how I am supposed to wait until the premiere on October 12th. Enough of my talking and drooling over the trailer, check out the awesomeness for yourself below.
