THE POP FIX writer, Chau, sees Ryan with ex-fling Rachel!

Who knew Ryan Gosling liked aggressive, mosh-worthy rock music?

On a single night out in the new multi-use Space 15 Twenty (Urban Outfitters’ “retail experiment”) in Hollywood seeking some free concert fun, THEPOPFIX sighted among a slew of hipsters brown-bagging Coors Light and indie kids on E:

• a flawlessly-gorgeous Ryan Gosling accompanied by real-life Tinkerbell (pocket-sized and bleached-blond pixie cut and all) Rachel McAdams and others
• the members of Franz Ferdinand minus Alex Kapranos watching another concert right after their own free (and packed) performance at Amoeba Music
• amazing skateboarders like Eric Koston and Andrew Reynolds, the latter of whom took the stage with his weird, aggressive rock band The Goat (whom Gosling and McAdams apparently loved!)

So are Gosling and McAdams back together for real?  I couldn’t tell you for sure, but when The Goat’s moshing fans got too crazy in their pit, Gosling valiantly stepped in front of McAdams to protect her from the pushing.  Swoon!

Ah, life in Los Angeles: indeed, a small, small world.
