Finally, a week after the incident that rocked the entertainment world, Chris Brown speaks out about his actions and says that much of the media hype is not true.

“Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and-or reported in the media is wrong,”

Brown said though a statement issue by his publicist. While he did not get specific on what was true and what was not,  the 19-year-old singer did manage to express how sorry he is,

“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”

While we certainly hope that he is getting the help he needs, we also think Brown owes Rihanna a public apology as well, there seems to be no mention of her in the released statement.
