Boy, Oh Boy George
Never a publication considered out of vogue, Vogue magazine is keeping up with the trend of drag, reintroduced into mainstream media by Logo’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” by featuring Boy George as a “Beauty Icon.” We at THE POP FIX would beg to differ, but it’s hard to disagree with Vogue. I guess there’s nothing like a boy who looks like a girl…just ask RuPaul.

Although we see the unfortunate resemblance, it doesn’t mean we approve. Boy George was certainly unique, and an interesting character, but even he’s ditched the clown-like, crayola inspired make-up back in the 90’s. Since then he’s moved on to neutral shades, he cleaned it up and toned it down:
Come on, Vogue. Get with the program.
