LA can be a hard place to navigate during weekends. The problem is never a lack of things to do, but rather finding yourself in a confusing mess of not knowing where to go and what events are too good to miss But, never fear dear readers, I’ve got a guide to the top 4 places and events you’ll want to be at this weekend…and believe me, it’s a good one.

It looks like a new trend in songwriting has emerged, parents beware! Another young singer has penned a cry out for attention by making a song about why they hate the people who brought them into this earth. Joining the ranks of singers like Lindsay Lohan, Brooke Hogan made a parent-hating song about her mom, and The Hulk’s ex-wife, Linda Bollea. Truth be told, I feel bad for Brooke, she has had one tough year with her highly publicized family drama. But did she need to make a song about it? And a bad song at that, complete with a “monologue” in the beginning and ending with a faux/mock conversation.

Rachel and Angel helped their famous sister, AnnaLynne McCord celebrate her 22 birthday. The sisters blew out 22 candles perched upon a Baskin Robbins mint chip ice cream cake at the Asics Beach House in Malibu, yesterday…

Although France celebrates Bastille Day tomorrow (July 14th), the French in Los Angeles celebrated their version of the holiday in Elysian Park, near Dodger Stadium this past weekend. POP FIX reporters Erin Darling and Vanessa Bezic braved the heat, the crowds and the drunks in order to experience Bastille Day in all of it’s French glory! Wine tasting, waiter racing, crepe eating, oyster slurping and fire juggling were some of the highlights of the day, and we got it all on tape…well, most of it! Check it out, here!
