LA Gets HARD Yet Again

For whatever reason, it seems like electronic music is getting more and more popular as days go by. With the mainstream success of electronic acts like JUSTICE, we must beg the question; where can we hear these tunes live!

On October 31, 2008, concert organizers HARD crafted an electronic show unlike any other, otherwise known as the beast that was HARD Haunted Mansion. The 3 stage event packed more world renowned DJs into one night than few other nights before. Aforementioned JUSTICE headlined with other seriously bonkers performances by Soulwax, Deadmau5, Boys Noize and Crystal Castles.

Next week, on Friday the 13th, HARD looks to continue their reputation for energetic and action packed live experiences with the aptly titled HARD 13. Headlined by 24-year-old German phenom Alexander Ridha, better known as Boys Noize, the event will prove to be quite the rowdy experience. Boys Noize has garnered quite a following recently, highlighted by their boss remixes of songs like “My Moon My Man” by Feist. Check ‘em out on Myspace at Myspace.com/BoysNoize for some sample tracks.  HARD 13 features opening acts by other electronic power hitters like Diplo, Erol Alkan, Boy 8 Bit and LA Riots

If history proves to repeat itself, HARD 13 looks like it will sell out the Shrine Expo Hall with ease. Those who are looking for some auditory stimulation unlike any other may want to pick up a $45 dollar ticket from GrooveTickets.com before this mother sells out.
