Whoa there. Whoever decided to make up those rumors about Kanye entertaining the idea of participating in bisexual porn better cool their jets, or watch their back. Apparently, the rumors got back to Mr. West himself, and he is not too happy about it, to say the least. To say the most, let’s examine Kanye’s blog, shall we? This is, verbatim, what he has to say about this little rumor…

Miss America is more than just a pageant. It’s a job. It’s a title. It’s a commitment. Every year, 52 young women from across the nation compete for the chance to wear the crown. It’s a rigorous selection process, each contestant must first win a regional pageant to even qualify for the opportunity to compete at the state-level. While pageants are often criticized for being sexist, archaic and anachronistic, I believe that there is nothing wrong with offering young women a chance to use their interpersonal skills, talent and beauty in order to gain scholarship money to further an education. To the untrained eye, it may seem like a hobby where contestants are judged on their inherent sex appeal, or how expensive their gown appears to be. However, what most people don’t know is that Talent is worth a whopping 35% of the preliminary score, and interview accounts for 25%. Swimsuit is only 15%. This year, the 52 contestants have been kept busy in Sin City. The pageant’s location is Las Vegas, tune into TLC at 8/7 Central TONIGHT to watch the show! As most familiar with the pageant world already know, all 52 contestants compete in the preliminary competitions which occur before the televised show. This allows the judges to cut down to a top 15, the girls who you see go head-to-head on TV. Although each and every woman who competes at a national pageant is a winner in her own right, the following are my favorites for the top 15!

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” was one of the longest movies I have ever seen, and no boat sunk so it was really not worth it! The movie is based on a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born old and gets younger with age. Brad Pitt surprised me in the movie because he really held his own opposite Cate Blanchett, who is by the far the best actress of our generation. He discovers many different, interesting characters along the way but still doesn’t have the power to stop time to be with the woman he loves. My favorite character in the film was played by Taraji P. Henson, who was Brad Pitt’s mother. Throughout the film she is extremely kind and never let Benjamin feel like an outsider. The cinematography of the film is breathtaking and it deserves being nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. However, I would love the movie if it was half the length. I recommend renting it because you can have an intermission and I promise you will enjoy it way more that way. I say RENT IT.

Kelly Osbourne joined the ever-growing number of celebrities, reality TV stars and socialites that have checked into rehab…again. This isn’t the first time the 24-year-old musician has been rehabilitated, she’s checked in twice before. According to different sources, she’s either being treated at a facility in Los Angeles or Oregon. However, lips are tightly closed as to what the Osbourne is being treated for. Her mother, Sharon Osbourne, spoke to RadarOnline acknowledging her daughter’s situation, “Kelly knew she needed help and she’s getting it.”

Kollaboration is a collaborative (like the pun?) effort of Asian Americans trying to pave themselves into the American dog-eat-dog mainstream world. Kollboration’s slogan is: “Empowerment through entertainment.”

If you don’t know Demetri yet, you will on Febuary 11th. His new show, “Important Things with Demetri Martin,” is touted, by himself, to be one of the most popular shows ever. He’s predicting to attract an audience of 100 million people. That way he only has to tailor his jokes to one third of the American public. 33% market share is no small feat. But with Jon Stewart behind the scenes as the Executive Producer and “shepherding” the pilot, I think Demetri’s just nibbling on a piece of humble pie. The show format will be redolent of the Dave Chappelle Show, comedic stand up bits interspersed with pre-taped sketches. Demetri’s sense of humor is entirely novel for a show of this format and it just might work. Each shows themes consist of something important in our lives. We’ll see the important things from “Apples” to “Coolness” all through Demetri’s sly, witty lens.
