Britney’s Little Secret Gone Public

Wait. So how come nobody ever alerted me that “If You Seek Amy” actually had a dirty double meaning?

Apparently the song, featured on Britney Spears’ “Circus,” has been the source of plenty of controversy among radio stations who are hesitant to play the song. If you still aren’t keen on the hidden, naughty message, just say the title a few times slowly…

Don’t worry, it took me a good five minutes to figure it out too. Need a little background? Consider it in the context of this actual lyrics from the song, “All the boys and all the girls are begging to if you seek Amy.”

According to The Sun, this little line might cost Britney some airplay, as American radio stations are catching on to the “hidden” secret. But don’t be sad, Britney fans, The Sun is also reporting that the pop star’s record label has decided to drop the “k” and release the single as “If You See Amy.”

If it’s the real version you crave, buy “Circus” now before the record label changes that one too.
