Today marks the 10 year anniversary of Britney’s debut album, “Baby One More Time.” The album hit number one on the Billboard 200, and became the best selling female debut album in history. It’s hard to believe that I was one of those 7th grade girls who bought the album, learned the dance and rolled up my uniform skirt in an effort to emulate the sexed-up pop star…and I paid for it in detention. Thanks, hall monitors.

It’s also hard to believe that it was just 10 years ago when Britney was brunette, barely famous, and dancing in high school hallways. In honor of Brit, here’s a video of her performing circa 1999 on the Donny and Marie Show. If you closely, you’ll see my all-time favorite back up dancer (the asian guy) and boy, can he move.  Whatever happened to that guy?
