Like every 12-year-old girl in America, I’m obsessed with the latest craze on the Disney Channel. Yes, I’m ashamed to say that I love Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, and I couldn’t tell you why if I tried.

I find her red carpet style questionable, to the say the least.

And, I would actually say she sounds more like a 40-year-old robot with a nicotine problem than a 15-year-old ‘tween queen. Don’t believe me? Listen for yourself.

You’d think that with three major strikes against her, this girl would be out, but she’s still in the game for one good reason. The Hannah Montana hit “See You Again” is more contagious than the Avian Flu.

Somehow, “See You Again” was kissed by God, delivered to songwriters and ended up in the hands of Miley Cyrus who added in the crucial lyric “My best friend Leslie says, ‘she’s just being Miley.’” Fast forward a few months, and you’ve got me and my college-aged friends blasting it in our rooms.

Will Miley suffer the same fate as her father and end up a one-hit-wonder sporting acid wash jeans and a bad mullet? I secretly hope so, for my own selfish reasons…

But at the same time, I also hope to see more of little Cyrus so she can provide the world with more addictive songs I can sing in my shower.
