X-Men Origins: Wolverine

So X-Men the comic was phenomenal. I used to watch the cartoon series every Saturday on Fox Kids and fantasize being Gambit, Nightcrawler, and especially Wolverine. But when the movie came out, I was not thrilled at all. Not only was the acting iffy, but the storyline was weak and didn’t follow that of the beloved comics.

Enter X-Men Origins: Wolverine Movie about well, the beginnings of the fast-healing, exoskeletoned character.

We know from reading posts that this movie is supposed to be pretty great. But what gets us even more excited is the fact that there will be an eclectic ‘all-star’ cast.

Hugh Jackman, seen here in recent pictures, is obviously pumping some hard iron for this role. Filming of the movie started recently, and you can see Jackman taking a short break from filming with his family. He’s sporting his Wolverine beard and mutant-ready body.

We know from reading posts that this movie is supposed to be pretty great. But what gets us even more excited is the fact that there will be an eclectic ‘all-star’ cast.

Here’s a list of who we know so far:

Will.I.Am will play John Wraith. Will he also be producing the soundtrack? Hmm…

Funny man Ryan Reynolds will play Deadpool.

“Friday Night Lights” star Taylor Kitsch will play beloved cajun, Gambit.

Liev Shreiber will play Sabretooth,
though I think Tyler Mane, who played him in the X-Men movies was much better suited. Shreiber, in my opinion, is totally miscast for this part, but whatever.

Korean star Daniel Henney will make his U.S. debut playing the part of Agent Zero,
aka the character Maverick. Henney is American but had a huge career in
Asia with his breakthrough roll in the in Korean drama, “My Lovely
Samsoon,” and movie “My Father.” We expect this role to make this
former model an international star, surpassing the stardom of his ex, Maggie Q.
